Amulet in the form of a scarabaeus with extended wings.
Obv. not inscribed. No illustration available.
Rev. Under r. wing αβλαναθαναλβα in three lines. Under l. wing ακραμμαχαμαρε in four lines. Both are very common magical words, the former a palindrome. Under the body, in eight lines, εθεντεβερνεχυρτου οπρστυφχψ ουεσβερινιο μέγας ἐν οὐρανῷ ἀμὴν, ἀμήν. Note the alphabetic sequence ο ψ in the middle of the inscription. μέγας ἐν οὐρανῷ has a biblical sound; cf. Ps. 108, 4, μέγα ἐπάνω τῶν, οὐρανῶν τὸ ἔλεός σου. Lapis lazuli. Ca. 35 × 20.
