5th–6th c. AD (J. Franek)
Iconography:
Bronze, leaf-shaped pendant with a dedicated suspension loop at the top. Significant traces of wear and corrosion; chipped on the side.
Side A: Holy Rider, nimbate, spearing a female demon trampled under the hooves of his horse. The demon is hardly visible, but its presence may be safely assumed based on the segmented, worm-like lower body. Above the rider, a semicircular Greek text: ‘One God conquering evil’.
Side B: Greek incipit of Psalm 90/91: ‘You who live in the shelter of the Most High, ...’.
