Bronze pendant: Holy Rider, Greek text (A) evil eye attacked by animals, ιαω, σαβαω, μιχαηλ (B)
Bronze, leaf-shaped pendant, chipped around the edges; dedicated suspension loop at the top. Surface is worn.
Side A: Holy Rider, nimbate, spearing a female demon trampled under the hooves of his horse. The demon’s hands are bound. To the right of the rider’s head, an indistinct dash (likely to be understood as a crescent). Below the demon, a roaring lion. In the upper register, a semicircular Greek text: εισθεοσονικωντα[...]α → εἷς θεὸς ὁ νικῶν τὰ [κακ]ά. ‘One God conquering evil’.
Side B: At the top, a Greek inscription ιαω|σαβαω|μιχαηλ → Ἰάω, Σαβαώ<θ>, Μιχαήλ. ‘Iao, Sabaoth, Michael’. Below, an image of a ‘much-suffering eye’, attacked from above by a trident (center) and a pair of daggers (one on each side); from below, left to right by a lion, a bird (likely ibis), a scorpion, a snake, and another feline, only partially visible due to damage.
