Heliotrope gem: Anubis with scorpion
Green-yellow jasper gem. Upright oval, both sides flat, trapezoid section. (Shape 8). Intact.
Side A: Jackal-headed Anubis standing on a baseline, in profile facing right, wearing tunic, mantle, and boots, head crowned with a lotus (?). The chlamys is thrown over his bent right arm, the hand is hidden. There is a palm branch in his left; a scorpion crawls upwards by the left leg.
Side B: Plain.
